When the University of York decided to build a new sports complex a full size 3G surface and three five a side pitches were specified. But the pitch also needed to meet rugby standards, so a shock pad was required. Under the control of main contractor Brambledown.
Sports Surface Solutions installed the Rebounce shock pad onto a newly built stone base. On to this the football surface was laid. Users of both sports have benefited from the superb playing characteristics and it is no surprise that the system meets both football and WR requirements.
